For some reason, I feel like utter crap. I feel icky and gross and pouty and irritable and bored. But whatever, that's not what this entry is for. I promised life stuff, and dammit, you'll get life stuff.

Yesterday I went to Sea World and took a few pictures with my cameraphone, and there's three of them.

hay guyz!! )

Anyway. Sea World was awesome and fun.

In case there's someone here yet who hasn't heard, I'm going to UCF in the fall. Or, rather, in ten days. I'm going to be living in the Towers (the apartment-style dorms) with roommates of unknown origin or number. I've been wading in paperwork up to my knees for the last few days about said dorms. It's really aggravating.

Ahh, other than that, I've basically just been playing WoW a lot. On the other computer, though, so I can watch TV while doing so. I'm almost level 59. Quite pleased. :D

EDIT: OH WELL NOW I KNOW ONE OF THE REASONS I FEEL LIKE UTTER CRAP. AND NOW I HAVE A HEADACHE, TOO.

I told my dad. I'm not dead. I'm not financially cut off. He has serious reservations but he hasn't forbidden me to go.

He's going to broach the subject with Mom tonight.

I can be scared later, right now I'm focusing on being so relieved that I'm not dead. Or disowned. Or financially cut off. Or hated.

If I've been conspicuously absent from LJ life and from IM, I'm sorry. I do promise that if you're on my flist, I do read your entries. My life has pretty much been divided into work and WoW. I'll still sit around online sometimes, though. Anyway, just checking in and reminding you that I love you. Of course, half the time I try to IM someone, they don't respond, go to away, and then sign off. Does my screenname smell or something?

As far as life goes, I'm still working. I'm making plans for college in the spring. It's looking like UCF.

Anyway, I'm going to be in Orlando on Sunday for Halloweeny fun, and going to see RHPS that night if we can find a showing. KATY, HELP ME. If not, we'll rent the DVD and put on the "audience participation" subtitles, get smashed and chant along and throw things.

Right. Bored now.

So yesterday I went to see Stephen Lynch at the UCF arena. After much rushing and worry and screaming at other cars to move their asses, I made it, got a ticket and found my way to the rest of the boys (Grant, Richard, Ethan, Neil, Nick, Aaron and Kevin).

Stephen Lynch is my new hero. He opened with Craig from the new cd. I was waiting for him to play "If I Were Gay" and he did, about halfway through the show, and it was awesome.

He was hilarious. Very soon it actually hurt to laugh because my face was getting sore from smiling so much. Half of the show was the ineraction with the audience. He'd make jokes about UCF and the particular audience early on and refer to them later, so listening to a recording of one song would take out half of the funny. So awesome. Some guy in the audience came up with a new superhero, "Drunken Baseball Dad" and now he has the greatest story ever because Stephen Lynch grabbed it and ran with it. Such a great show.

Afterwards, the busses had stopped running back to the apartments, so we had to walk back to la Casa de Grant. Because we like adventure and think that sidewalks are for weaklings, we ended up taking a shortcut through construction, mudfields, a small mountain range, Mordor and the soccer field. Luckily I was with Grant, so I got carried for the more difficult parts.

Afterwards we ditched Aaron, Nick and Kevin (har har) and went to Denny's with Stephen, who, unlike Grant, did not opt to skip his class for Stephen Lynch and we attempted to convince him that he didn't miss much, but he knew we were lying. Sorry, man. Part of the late dinner was spent trying to remember what Mankee evolves into (Primape! Gah!) and then Grant and Jeremy had a heated phone discussion over whether Golum or Grimer was better.

Post-food, we (by 'we' I mean 'me and Grant') acquired booze for the weekend from Matt. For those of you curious, Matt and Ganty have changed exactly none, and their apartment is disgusting and predictably filled with empty soda cans, boxes, pizza boxes and other college necessities, and they were playing Halo. (Yeah, Ross, when Matt stopped playing for a few minutes? That's because he was getting us booze.) Small world.

I drove Grant back to Palm Bay, and that was fun. We need to take more road trips. OMG GHILLIE IS GETTING SO BIIIIG! Baby grows up so fast. *tear* She was a new puppy when those pictures were taken and now she's getting her grown-up fur and is fluffing out. And BIIIG!

I got back in around 2:30 and slept in until 1. Tonight after Becky gets off work, we're going to look around at places for post-homecoming, and today I'm going to plan wtf goes on tomorrow. Also play WoW. And clean out the truck. And...eh, I dunno, other things.

Oh, I want to see Domino.

ETA: How many degrees away from Kevin Bacon are YOU? via [livejournal.com profile] trollprincess, who, incidentally, was the person who got me into Stephen Lynch in the first place.
