Grits and Gravy

1. I made my hair look like this today! It took root-lifter, a curling iron, a hairdryer and lots of hairspray. If anyone can think of alternate ways to make my hair do this, please enlighten me, because I need tips on styling my hair in something other than "straight."
2. After I forced my hair into unusual hair architecture, I went to Grits and Gravy night at IBar with Ethan, Rebecca, Josh and Monica and we danced our feet off. For the uneducated, Grits and Gravy night happens every Tuesday and the cover is free and they play music from the fifties to the seventies. All the best music. They played Dancing Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody back to back. I swear, it's like my entire life had been leading up to that moment. All my viewings of Dirty Dancing, all my dance routines practiced on long car trips, the hundreds of times my friend and I sang Bohemian Rhapsody in high school. I got such a rush of adrenaline my knees were actually shaking.
3. I am a fool dancing, and it is awesome. No joke, this is about what I'm like. I am super cool, you guys. And that's what I'm like sober.
