It is turning into reasons why a person has an abortion. I was almost tempted to go in and say, "sometimes people who are likely to have an abortion don't...for emotional reasons." But I am not going to touch that basket of crazy.
I actually sort of agree with vidor, but I hate him so much that I refuse to say so. And while I get his point, I'm pretty sure his reasoning has to do with that he's a misogynist dickhole, while mine is that Apatow's movies are about men's, not women's, emotional journeys.
I feel like the entire gender thing is being hijacked by the abortion topic. What about other stuff like how people are worried about The Frog Princess going back to stereotypes? Disney Princesses? Why there isn't a slacker chick/uptight dude romantic comedy?
As for abortion: Why is it there the automatic assumption that she would get an abortion? Or that she should. It's her freakin' body (the character's that is) and her choice.
Gah. I don't know if I'm making sense and my head hurts.
