Infinitesimal burns on my forearms

I'm back home for Memorial Day (which, incidentally, is my parents' 29th wedding anniversary) and my duty as daughter is the food.

From about 6:30 to about 10:45 I was cooking or doing something related to cooking. I made dinner at 6:30 (grilled mojo chicken) and then went to Publix for food for tomorrow. When I got home, I cut up a sirloin steak and peppers for kebabs, and when I ran out of steak I started putting bacon-wrapped shrimp on the kebabs. I made a mandarin orange pie during as well. There were leftover peppers and onions, so I sauteed them with the leftover chicken for Dad to have when he came home from work. Tomorrow we'll bring the huge grill over and cook the kebabs, corn on the cob, and barbecue pork spareribs. And we will eat the pie. I am so completely cooked out right now and I have tiny stinging oil burns on my hands and forearms.




This turned out slightly blurry. I'll take a better photo tomorrow before and after we put them on the grill.

This pepper has an ectopic pregnancy.
