Mid-point of Spring Break
Mar. 30th, 2005 11:16 amToday is Lostnesday. Joy! Boone! Thank God, I have the truck.
The Merchant of Venice was really, really good. The costumes were excellent, the acting was great, Jeremy Irons and Joseph Fiennes kissed!!!!, I could understand the dialogue, and Grant counted nineteen pairs of boobs bared on screen. After the movie we all sat outside and talked for an inordinate amount of time, but it was fun, really great. Becky, Kari, and Rene all listened to Soul Patch Tommy talk (sorry, but it's true and that's now his official nickname.) and Grant and I talked.
I can't believe I love this song as much as I do, but I did vote for it as the senior class song over some others. The lyrics fit!
Now I have to work on my service learning writeup, says Mom, so I guess I will. Time to break out the supply of my Really Vague Language. I think I'll also grab myself a second Photobucket account so I can post my Gerry/Emmmy/Patrick banner for the world to snag, and maybe work a little on another banner and make Becky a slashy icon for her fic, not that
ignited didn't already do that. :)
Then, le shopping. I still have my Best Buy gift card and two Barnes and Noble gift cards, and I might just stop by Icing again and buy myself more formerly-eight-dollars-but-now-fifty-cents jewelry.
So it's a pretty free day. And a good one, because I am happy.
