Yeah, I definitely can't drop it completely. I mean, it's fuckin' Lost! They did Walkabout, for God's sake! But it's not on my high-priority list any more.
I think Grant got it right with his comment about them performing auto-fellatio on their own mythos. They keep congratulating themselves on setting up such a great mystery, but they're forgetting to address the follow-through and make it live up to the suspense.
Seriously, I used to love Charlie. Now? If he dies, I seriously will not give a shit. And that's bad for the show. They haven't even given me a decent reason why I now hate a character I used to adore.
They need to stop winning a scrillion awards and have to work for their recognition again, or they're going to tank faster than Tara Reid.
