Aug. 4th, 2008 01:48 amI went to Nick's graduation party/Richard's early birthday party with two things: macaroni and cheese made with beer and a sunflower. I then proceeded to spend the entire party laying on the couch reading His Dark Materials. Plz send help. I get the next book tomorrow. I'm not sure I can last that long. I should go to bed so the wait is shorter.
Today was a long day. I roasted a chicken breast for a quick lunch, had stressful shenanigans over rent payments and then made the macaroni with the rotini, cheddar, gruyere and peccorino romano I'd bought at Publix and Whole Foods earlier that day. Next time I'm also using some asiago in there. It will be the most expensive macaroni IN THE WORLD. (Or IN A COLLEGE STUDENT'S APARTMENT, anyway.) The macaroni was delicious. I still have a pretty decent sized tupperware box of leftovers, and I just ate a small bowlful before bed.
Tomorrow I'm heading home to go shopping with my mother for apartment items and probably meet up with Bryan to help him look for stuff. I don't know. I do know I'll sleep in as much as possible, which is still probably not much since my window faces east. I definitely need curtains when I go home tomorrow; possibly from World Market. I already checked IKEA when I went yesterday. God, it was just yesterday. Yesterday was a big day.
