I went to the zoo today out of the blue. Getting in for free definitely ensures that zoo visits are a spur-of-the-moment thing for me.
( More photos. )While I was standing next to the jaguars taking a million pictures (no, really, those are only about a tenth of the photos I took) some idiots came up and went "OH LOOK AT THE TIGERS." TIGERS.
TIGERS. HOW. WHY.
HOW DO YOU LIVE IN THIS WORLD ON THIS PLANET AND NOT KNOW THAT TIGERS ARE STRIPED?! I mean, I would think that anyone with half a brain and a quarter of an education or even someone who BUYS CEREAL could tell that those? Are not tigers. I can cut a little slack on the people who can't tell leopards, jaguars and cheetahs apart, but not much if they're at the zoo, because come on, people, it's not like zoos have
signs that tell you what animal you're looking at in BIG LETTERS.
