LOOK AT HOW SHOUTY I AM!
Jan. 10th, 2007 09:41 pmWell, it's been a week since I've posted. My last post was on Top Chef, and the new episode starts in twenty minutes. I might as well post now instead of having to look at:
P.S. Ilan should die in a fire and choke on his stupid, stupid hoodie.
So my classes this semester are pretty cool thus far. My schedule is:
I loved English History today, yet at the same time it filled me with rage. We went over the abridged version of the Wars of the Roses. I loved it. If I could erase my memory of the class and sit through it and relearn it, I would, because it was that fun. And yet, the rage comes because I was never taught any of this before in school. Ever! I know most of my world history from independent study! Martin Luther? Who's that? I never heard about him until eleventh grade. Norman Conquest? Saxons? Hundred Years War? These things didn't exist! And apparently, if you believe my high school education, nothing happened in England between "King Arthur" and Henry VIII. Rargh!
I lost my primary bike lock key, so I've been walking all over campus the last few days. That sounds like nothing, but keep in mind that it's about a quarter/half a mile from my dorm to my first class. And then the campus is a huge-ass campus. And oh, my feets. My poor feets. I got my backup bike lock key out of the truck (WHICH CAN NOW BE PARKED IN THE GARAGE NEXT TO MY DORM BOOYAH BITCHES I CAN GO GROCERY SHOPPING NOW AND I TOTALLY DID!) and was going to ride my bike today, buuut. No air in front tire. So tomorrow afternoon I'm pumping that baby back up. It'll be too early tomorrow morning to do it before class, so after class and lunch it is. Blarg.
So, Top Chef in five minutes. TEAM MARCEL!
