YES! YES, IT WORKED!

I've been trying to write my one-act for ages and keep throwing away plots because they don't work. For the last few days I've been trying to force a plot into Victorian times because I want to play with pretty corsets, but then suddenly, as I was sitting here and thinking about the kind of male lead character I want to have, he jumped into my head and said "Hey. My name is Jason and my wife just died and I blame myself. Write about me." And my hands flew to the keyboard and started clicking merrily. Yes. It will be about Jason who is angry and bitter and Nora who has the misfortune of living across the hall. Yes. Yes. It clicks, oh, how it clicks and Goddamn my betraying fingers that want to write an entire world, not just a one-act.
