LOL. Sorry, I know how annoying that class must have been, but your post totally cracked me up.

I had a Research Design course last year that was only for graduate students in experimental psychology. The entire first lecture was defining dependent and independent variables. I very nearly dropped the class.

Dude, I know what a genotype and phenotype and alleles are, and I have taken a science class since high school. o.O

Do you mind if I piggy back on your post to say, about my biostats class, everyone knows what a chi-square test is! If they don't they should go back down a level, MOVE ON!

I believe you may be using my sixth grade Earth Science textbook. Out of order, sure, because our FIRST lesson was "What is a hypothesis" (with bonus Scientific Method info!), but. . .yeah.

I know most of that stuff and:

(1) I suck at science and math.
(2) I haven't studied it since freshman/sophomore year of college.
